Giving specialist ecological services a clearer online presence

Cotswold Wildlife Surveys needed an online presence that clearly communicated its ecological expertise and helped potential clients understand the services available to them.

I designed and built a website for the consultancy, bringing its range of ecological surveys, assessments and planning support together in one place. The aim was to make the information approachable for a varied audience, from homeowners planning an extension to developers and professionals navigating environmental requirements.

With services covering everything from bat and protected species surveys to habitat assessments and mitigation strategies, presenting the information clearly was an important part of the project. The website gives each area of expertise room to be explored, while keeping the consultancy’s background and contact information easy to find.

The site was built using HTML, CSS and JavaScript, giving me direct control over its structure, styling and interactive elements without relying on a frontend framework.

The result is a dedicated website that gives Cotswold Wildlife Surveys a simple and clear, yet professional, online presence, reflecting the specialist nature of its work while making its services easier for prospective clients to explore.
